Social Enterprise Seminar Series - 2010
As a key part of the aspire to enterprise programme we are offering a series of FREE to attend seminars on crucial aspects of social enterprise activity. We are now pleased to announce details of two further workshops we are running in June:
- How to Price Your Services - How do you decide what to charge for your goods or services? No matter the market in which you operate, the ability to properly cost your goods/services is crucial to determine the price you charge. Following on from Aspire’s successful Costing Your Services range of seminars this half day workshop will show you a range of methods you can use to set your price.
- Trading Income, Capital Builds & VAT an Introduction for Social Economy Organisations (Speaker: Charles Rumbles, CKR VAT Consultancy)
Dealing with VAT can seem a daunting prospect for many social enterprise organisations, particularly as their trading income expands, or as a consideration within capital build projects. This workshop provides an accessible introduction to the issue of VAT – when does it becomes a consideration and how should organisations respond to it when it does. In addition to a general overview, the workshop will offer participants the opportunity to ask questions about their own particular situation. Please note we will contact you in advance of the event for information on specific topics you would like to see covered
